- Copies of their valid CNIC, Smart Card or NICOP (both sides)
- Copies of their current passport (first two pages plus one random page requested by the system)
- Copy of valid visa
For minors (Pakistanis aged less than 18), the additional Pakistani passport renewal documents required include:
- Copies of Family Registration Certificate or computerised B-form in the absence of a Smart Card
- Copies of parents’ CNICs (both sides)
- Guardianship certificate or the court decision (copies) if the parents are separated
- Copy of Minor Attestation Form (can be downloaded from the portal)
- Copy of Death Certificate in case one of the parents is deceased

- Open DGIP passport renewal portal
- Click on “GET STARTED” and then “Create a New Account” (confirmation codes will be sent via email)
- Create an application for passport renewal
- Enter your passport delivery address (this could be your rental apartment in Dubai or the Pakistan Consulate)
- Pay the Pakistani passport renewal fee (refer to the fee structure below)
- Enter the personal details required
- Enter your correct present address and your permanent address
- Upload the documents (photograph and supporting documents)
- Download the Fingerprint form, add the fingerprints and upload (follow the instructions on onlinemrp.dgip.gov.pk/fingerprint-requirements/)

- Sign the declaration and then submit your application
